Training services

QTC views the provision of education and training programs as complementary to the delivery of value-adding solutions to its customer base.We offer a range of industry and customer specific training courses, including programs that cover cost of capital, project evaluation, investment and liquidity management and treasury management.

In recent years, we have developed a number of programs for customers in response to the demands of their businesses. Apart from providing customers with a valuable learning experience, we have found significant benefit in running these programs, as they allow us to learn more about our customers’ businesses, as issues of common interest are discussed. Participants also benefit in being able to establish a network of contacts across a broad section of government organisations.

We also tailor in-house training programs for individual clients, allowing them the opportunity to cover topics pertinent to them and within timeframes to suit. Tailored courses are developed from a series of modules and can be structured for individual customers and/or other customers with similar needs.

We have also held two one-day sessions in Financial Analysis and Risk Management for local government, in conjunction with the Local Government Association of Queensland.

We will travel to regional areas to deliver courses and generally charges on a cost-recovery basis. Costs, however, are negotiated with individual customers at the time of arranging the courses.
