QTC raises money for on-lending to Queensland Government departments, local authorities, government-owned enterprises and public sector bodies. As a 'AAA' credit rated borrower, funds are sourced in both the domestic and international markets through the issuance of a variety of debt instruments. The Treasurer, on behalf of the Government of Queensland, guarantees QTC's obligations under these debt instruments.
